Car Ride
I remember
Tiny drops of water
Resting idly, scattered
Amongst a frail windshield
The sky painted with
Sheer colors of melancholy
The road tormented by
Rusty vehicles passing
Carelessly above its surface
Frail leaves murdered by time
Laid on the dirty pavement
Crushed into oblivion by the
Carelessness of a moving body
Minute fingers caused a deathly
Ripple on an empty canvas
Leaving behind a decorated
Path of peach colored stains
The geese made perpetual noises
That slowly damaged the eardrums
Their maddening songs echoed faintly
Into the distance, eventually muted
By dull shrieks of ecstasy.
