And waited to be immersed

I watched as comets
Fought their way towards me
As they sunk into the most

Intimate trinkets of space
Were tickling my core
Defying the very idea
That my happiness
Could only be extracted
From another human being
I looked down to see nothing more
Than shallow waters

Belonging to an entire
Portal of atoms
